          declined  ·  jeremym1234jeremym1234 responded

Our DOS library uses NetBIOS to communicate to the Win32 ADSDOSIP.exe application. The ADSDOSIP.exe receives the NetBIOS traffic and forwards it on to ADS via our normal win32 comm layer.

Microsoft has removed support for the NetBIOS API: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb870913(v=VS.85).aspx

If NetBIOS can’t be used for IPC communications, then the Clipper app can’t talk to our ADSDOSIP.exe app.

Thank you very much for the lightning quick response, Jeremy. We will absolutely give the XP mode a try!
