  BDE, BDP, dbExpress, DBX4, ... a lot of modifications being done in the past to Borland's, ehhhh CodeGear's, ehhhh Embarcadero's data layer. I'm not sure if supporting all of these layers and the ones they might develop in future is it worth since there's a superb Delphi client.
